Timing
The standard wedding package is 6 1/2 hours in duration. The following
example is offered as a guide.
Chapel ceremony: 1/2 hr
Photography: 1 1/2hrs
Reception: 4 1/2
hrs
The 6 1/2 hr period commences at the start of your wedding ceremony.
After the bride and groom have departed, 1/2 hour is allowed, at no additional cost, so that guests can say their goodbyes and depart for the carpark. Bar is closed and dancing finished. In the interests of the smooth running and timing of the reception, it is advised that the photographer be made aware of the time the food is to be served.
Beverages
As Chapel Hill is BYO, drinks need to be
delivered at least two days prior to the reception or the day
before if they are already chilled. An inventory of all beverages
including the bride & grooms
names and the wedding date should accompany this delivery. Any
specific instructions should also be included such as whether champagne
is for speeches only and any other special drinks such as ports
etc. for specific tables. BYO Corkage is charged at $2.50 per adult - includes ice.
